Klit Flashes

Kilt flashes are the small fabric tabs that show at the top of kilt hose, just below the knee — usually tied in with the tartan of your kilt or a complementary colour, and worn with garters underneath to keep the hose up.

Choosing a colour. Match your flashes to your kilt tartan for a traditional look, or pick a solid colour that ties in with your jacket or waistcoat for a more contemporary outfit.

How to wear them. Fold the top of the hose down over the garter, with the flash showing just below the outside of the knee. Pair with plain or ribbed Kilt Hose for the complete look.

Care. Hand wash or gentle machine wash and reshape while damp to keep the fabric flat.
