Tweed Scarves

A wool tweed scarf is the finishing layer for a tweed outfit — woven in the same herringbone and check patterns as our jackets and coats, so it’s built to be paired directly with them rather than picked separately. It adds warmth without bulk, which makes it the natural extra layer once a jacket or coat alone isn’t quite enough.

How to wear it. Pair a herringbone scarf with a matching Tweed Jacket for a coordinated formal look, or with a Tweed Coat on the coldest days for genuine extra warmth. It also works thrown over a plain jumper on its own, where the texture of the weave does the work a plain scarf can’t.

Care. Genuine wool holds warmth even when the weave is relatively lightweight — brush it out after wear rather than washing it often, and store it folded rather than hung to keep its shape.
